  1. I eat quite a bit of raw food; however, I disagree about the saturated fats. Some of that is actually healthy. If you eat raw you can consume plant-based saturated fats such as cold-pressed coconut oil. Plant-based saturated fats will not cause weight gain.

  2. this is the common mistake of everyone. They just think of eating raw foods to loose weight. But what they should consider is to eat raw vegetable foods for their health. Part of it they have their point that eating raw foods can maintain your shape . But atleast let us just concentrate on the health benefit of those foods.

  3. Where is the scientific evidence to support all of these claims? I also disagree with benefit #1. I know many people that are overweight and are raw foodists. There are a lot of oils in the raw diet which are high in fat even though most is from nut and plant sources and unsaturated which is more healthful. In agreement with Regina, coconut is high in saturated fat and usually one of the staples of raw cuisine. Consuming mass quantities of mostly any food with substance will not result in weight loss.

  4. Raw food is really a good source of healthy body because it contains less chemicals that can cause health problems. Lately, I have been eating raw foods and I can actually see a difference on my body.
